Primary Function

North America Water Heating Business Analytics Director is a critical member of the Finance and Business Analytics team charged with driving division-wide analytical projects at scale and supporting business decisions and outcomes. This role will partner closely with all NAWH Leadership members to develop metrics, execute analytic projects, and influence data-driven strategies and results. In addition to driving key business initiatives for NAWH, the Director will develop innovative new tools and processes, collaborating with Sales and Operations to deliver insights and analysis to accelerate the delivery of key business objectives.



  • Lead a diverse team of data and analytics experts focusing on recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Serve as a key partner to the Data Strategy BTS leadership in developing and supporting short-term and long-term goals associated with the company data framework/ecosystem.
  • Drive strategy around data and business intelligence to NAWH and partner with Sales and Operations to enhance data availability, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Research and develop data-driven strategies and metrics to improve analytics for the division and influence data capabilities and competencies.
  • Consult on metrics critical to driving business outcomes and reporting with stakeholders across all NAWH departments, focusing on Science, Product, Activation, Marketing, Finance, and New Business Models.
  • Advocate internal customer needs for data and reporting to ensure customers continue to derive value from the platforms and design strategies to capture data associated with the customers.
  • Develop models and processes to forecast critical company metrics and ensure proactive communication of surplus/gaps to leadership to drive tactical execution within the business.
  • Lead efforts to instill understanding, adoption, and compliance of data governance within commercial systems and datasets and sponsor commercial data governance to ensure programs are in place to monitor and measure critical master data.
  • Facilitate and influence data sharing with processes that ensure analysts can process requests through standardized methods and establish a framework for reporting the usage of NAWH data.
  • Monitor industry trends in analytics and drive internal adoption.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to build and scale teams.
  • Ability to set data strategy and lead large-scale data systems and analytic projects.
  • Deep understanding of commercial business processes with the ability to interpret stakeholder needs and deliver appropriate analytic solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master of Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics degree.
  • Proven analytical experience with knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, and data science tools, necessary to evolve business strategies and support decision science.
  • Solid experience in consumer products operations focused on performance measurement and strategic execution.
  • Critical understanding of go-to-market strategies.
  • Advanced Data Visualization skills - Regularly develops visualizations and dashboards. Tableau is the preferred tool, but other tools considered
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Experience in SQL
  • Proven experience working with data prep tools - Tableau Prep, Alteryx, etc.
  • Experience with SAP reporting tools (Analysis for Excel, BPC, WebI, OLAP)
