Responsibilities

 

We are seeking an experienced Training Supervisor to join our growing team.  In this position, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and administering training programs for new and existing employees. 

  • Conduct initial needs analysis to identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Design, develop, coordinate, and run training programs and seminars for supervisors, team leads, technical, hourly employees, and management personnel
  • Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs, and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training courses and provide summary reports to management, determining impact of training on employee skills and corporate goals
  • Maintain a database of curriculum, materials, and personnel training records
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
  • Maintain training budget and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.
  • Work closely with Human Resources and Manager to define appropriate training to meet employee development needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a trainer, coach, or training facilitator
  • Proven experience implementating training programs in a larger organizations
  • Familiar with both traditional and modern job training methods, trends and techniques
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with web delivery tools
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • ATD Certification preferred
