Primary Function
Develop, implement and support an On the Job training program following the TWI - Instruction methods and standards. The Training Coordinator will work closely with subject matter experts and manufacturing supervisors to develop, deliver and maintain training curricula and supporting and standardized documentation for various jobs and tasks. Additionally, the Training Coordinator will provide Job Instruction training and other training as needed or directed to ensure new and current team members gain complete job/task understanding and proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and/or support the managementof all activities related to training to include: training, development, assignments, tracking, reporting, documentation and initiatives.
- Develop the new employees on the job training process.
- Work with the supervisors, engineers, co-workers and other AOS team members to identify best practices, methods and documentation to perform and successfully complete manufacturing related tasks.
- Develop and implement the Job Instruction training program and all supporting products.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be reliable and able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Must be highly motivated, organized, accurate and detail oriented
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision or direction
- Familiar with manufacturing processes
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing work orders, print and computer printouts
- Ability to effectively present complied information in acceptable manor of understanding to production personnel
- Must be able to learn and work in document control software
- Basic Lean knowledge (5S, Visual Management, Standard work)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to interact with employees and all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to apply basic mathematical skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Able to use a computer, digital camera, video camera and related software
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to resolve issues within all operating shifts
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
