Primary Function

APCOM's climate controlled facility in Franklin, Tennessee, manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies.  The 2nd Shift Service Parts Setup Operator will initiate operation in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

Hours and Compensation

Regularly Scheduled Hours: Monday through Friday; 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm CST


Hourly Rate of Pay:  $17.81 plus a $.55 per hour shift differential rate


Sign On Bonus Opportunity:

  • $100 at 45th day of hire
  • $500 at 90th day of hire
  • Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments

  • Capable of working in a fast past team environment
  • Ability to be flexible with required scheduled overtime
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and be able to direct 3-4 other team member as it pertains to the operation of the blister machine and production goals
  • Posses basic mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills
  • Accurately complete of quality checks and documentation for each production run
  • Ability to read bill of materials
  • Basic understanding of inventory processes
  • Ensure accurate completion of inventory tags for materials returning to storage
  • Maintain 6S standards within assigned work area


  • One year of related work experience required
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
