This position is based out of our APCOM Cookeville, TN facility, but will support at least one other facility. Travel to these other locations is required for this position.

What you’ll do as a HR Business Partner:

  • Partners with leaders at multiple locations to provide outstanding HR service.
  • Coaches, collaborates and supports leaders at these locations and fosters effective employee relationships.
  • Oversees administration of HR processes including payroll, performance management, policy deployment, training, legal, compliance, communication and talent acquisition.
  • Acts as a resource and advocate for employee questions, concerns, suggestions and needs.
  • Supervises other HR team members and helps to develop their HR experience and acumen.
  • Works closely with division HR team and client group leaders on innovative HR practices and continuous improvement opportunities.

What we hope you bring with you:

  • Bachelors Degree is required (in HR or related field preferred).
  • A strong baseline knowledge and experience in basic HR administration with 3 to 5 years of proven HR generalist experience.
  • 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR/SHRM SCP certification is a plus.
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • A sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • The ability to build good relationships and influence others to achieve results.
  • An interest in analyzing issues from a business, employee, customer and organizational perspective and translate into actionable objectives.
