What You Will Do

As the Certification Coordinator,  you will establish, implement and maintain procedures and processes for plant locations to achieve certification from various trade associations or private or public entities.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  1. Create and maintain certification for export products:
  2. Determine testing requirements for various international standards including SASO, Kuwait, UAE, International Electromechanical Code, EN, etc.
  3. Provide guidance to design teams and facilitate testing at external agencies as required.
  4. Facilitate yearly AHRI audit process:
  5. Provide AOS product to third party test laboratories as part of the AHRI manufacturers audit program.
  6. Review and critique Uniform Energy Descriptor data and reports per Code of Federal Regulations.
  7. Maintain yearly program audit results.
  8. Maintain and audit AOS databases relative to external entities such as AHRI, DOE, Energy Star, CEC.
  9. Prepare applications for the permits, licenses, certificates, authorizations, and other approvals that the organization needs to conduct its business activities. 
  10. These may include product licenses, manufacturing, import and export permits. 
  11. Prepare and coordinate registration and development of trademarks for the organization's range of products. 
  12. Document and maintain the product dossiers, certification applications and filings required to operate. 
  13. Communicate regularly with federal regulators and ensure company policies strictly adhere to statutory requirements. 
  14. Assist the area in relation to processes of product qualification and certification with government regulatory agencies.
  15. Help create, or manage preparation of documentation of procedures and processes for each location seeking a certification.
  16. Help manage the collection of product samples that are to be submitted to a laboratory for testing.
  17. Compile, analyze and manage testing results.
  18. Maintain schedules of testing requirements to ensure certifications stay current.
  19. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
     

What You Will Bring

  • An associate degree in a related field is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is also required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication - written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize individual workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a support role within a team
