What You Will Do

As the Business Analyst - Pricing, you will be responsible for  monitoring and providing guidance in all areas involved with and pertaining to customer pricing strategies and implementation of electronic pricing initiatives.  

What You Will Be Responsible For

  1. Maintain consistent and accurate customer pricing across necessary electronic platforms.
  2. Coordinate pricing strategies with sales management.
  3. Provide and update competitive pricing analysis for all product platforms.
  4. Oversee and implement special pricing programs.
  5. Interact with appropriate personnel on pricing duties and objectives.
  6. Identify new means of electronically implementing pricing updates to minimize time to go to market with new initiatives.
  7. Maintain an active list of external customers to provide current pricing updates to customers outside the company.
  8. Work closely with the IT Dept. and third party vendors in the implementation of new initiatives which might be related to pricing.
  9. Provide training to appropriate personnel on new pricing tools.
  10. Work closely with management to identify areas of margin leakage.
  11. Support promotional pricing during seasonal and special program incentives.
  12. Work together with sales staff to achieve margin goals within the company.
  13. Maintain all pricing tables in SAP.
  14. Establish a regular routine of reviewing special customer pricing entered in the SAP point of sale software.
  15. Update sales reps, manufacturer reps and distributors of new pricing changes.
  16. Manage price book development and distribution including special net price sheets.
  17. Adhere to and help to identify company pricing policies to meet internal profit margins and maintain competiveness within the marketplace.
  18. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience 
  • Must possess excellent analysis skills, written and oral communication, and presentation skills
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of General Database software, SAP, Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
  • Excellent Communication Skills via written and oral
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra while working with MS Excel and Access software.
