Primary Function

The Accountant / Financial Analyst will be responsible for fixed assets, assisting with cost accounting, and financial and business data analysis and reporting.


  1. Maintain Fixed Assets records and prepare month-end journal entry
  2. Assist in the cost accounting function of costing new products and other various related tasks and projects
  3. Assist in month-end closing
  4. Financial Reporting: Assist in developing and maintaining key financial reports, driving efficiency through automation where possible. Develop new exception-based reports. Become a “super-user” in the SAP BI reporting software and Tableau.
  5. Process and analyze large amounts of data
  6. Projects: Special projects supporting functional groups (sales, engineering, transportation, etc.), financial results, or in support of developing dashboards.
  7. Presentations: Assist and complete segments of leadership presentations.


1. Analytical thinkerStrong interpersonal, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.

2. Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and modeling significant amounts of information quickly.

3. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required. SAP, Tableau and BI experience a plus.

4. High degree of accuracy with attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

5. Ability to effectively manage multiple and frequently changing priorities.

6. Ability to work independently and as a team to meet strict deadlines while balancing priorities
