The Finance Director will be the most senior Finance professional, working directly with Senior Leadership, at our Lochinvar business unit in Lebanon, TN.  Lochinvar is the leading producer of energy-efficient boilers, water heaters, pool heaters and commercial package systems with a long history of growth and financial stability.  

Primary Function

The Director of Finance and Business Analysis will partner with the leaders of this key growth business driving the strategy, financial reporting, analysis, and profitability improvement.  This role will establish annual financial budgets and plans, complete monthly forecasts and ensure proper accounting policies are followed.  The position will work closely with the Director of Audit and Corporate Controller to establish appropriate documentation and ensure procedures and policies are implemented for the business to comply with Sarbanes Oxley compliance.


The Director of Finance will report to the President and General Manager of Lochinvar.

  • Partner with the business unit leadership to manage the financial P&L Act as financial liaison between the operating business and corporate accounting and finance function
  • Build annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and drive the month and quarter end books
  • Provide all aspects of financial and business analysis support
  • Drive improved process and profitability
  • Lead and complete proper financial reporting
  • Ensure appropriate internal controls exist as well as compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
  • Coordinate all aspects of financial and business support through corporate (IT, Insurance, legal and compliance)
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities as scoped annually
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to ensure timely and accurate information is presented and interpreted
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related discipline is required; A Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience doing financial planning and analysis in a large corporate organization
  • At least five years of experience working in finance for a publicly traded company
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
  • Strong understanding of G/L systems and structure
  • Ability to influence and drive change in an organization
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the SAP and BPC reporting environments
  • SEC and public company reporting experience
  • CPA OR CMA is preferred
