This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

Primary Function

As the Sr. Full Stack Web Developer you will be responsible for leading the technical architecture & development for all branded websites for our North American business units.  The role will initially focus on leading the technical aspects of website migrations from various legacy platforms to the Javascript-based Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform (formerly DemandWare).  As the number of websites on the SFCC platform increases, the role will naturally transition to a focus on the technical aspects of refining or adding features and experiences. 


This role is a developer role inside our Marketing team.  You’ll be the lead technical architect & developer for all branded websites, and will collaborate with Jr. Developers & UX/UI Designers and third party vendors to develop & deploy compelling experiences for our customers. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the internal technical team to architect and implement the technical aspect of re-platforming initiatives for each of our branded websites to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. 
  • Implement customizations to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud system by writing high quality, testable, and compliant code using software development best practices.  
  • Implement website layout/user interface design by using best practices for integrating data from various back-end services and databases. 
  • Estimate development effort during the different lifecycle phases, and communicate technical dependencies, blockers and risks to project stakeholders and management. 
  • Provide valuable feedback on peers and evaluation of team performance. Identify potential team improvements and participate in team retrospectives. 
  • Work closely with business analysts, marketing, design, and product management to design and develop web-based solutions to meet the business needs.  
  • Create plans that fit the business needs while maintaining a stable development environment. Identify system and service requirements. Estimate the effort required to develop the plans.  
  • Provide technical guidance as required to vendors/contractors to ensure that technical direction for the internal team is aligned with the efforts of vendors and contractors. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field of study and 5+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect or Certified Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer
  • 3+ years of experience and strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform capabilities, architecture, design, and development
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA
  • Expert attention to technical detail
  • Expert level of knowledge of responsive web design concepts
  • Hands-on experience with multiple web technologies, such as: JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS/SASS, AJAX, JSON, ExpressJS, NPM, yarn, SQL, or ISML
  • Expert level knowledge of source control, build tool and collaboration tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), GitHub, Jenkins
  • Experience working with and integrating with APIs and 3rd party system integrations (SOAP/REST) to payment, OMS, CRM, CMS & WMS systems
