This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

Primary Function

As the Software Developer II you will be responsible to develop and deploy new software features and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house).

 

Serves as technical expert on development projects within their area of responsibility. Participates in all software development life cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements analysis and design, development, testing and documentation. Can operate independently with moderate level of guidance.

 

This role is eligible for a remote work schedule of up to two days remote work per week. New employees are eligible to apply after successfully completing their initial 90 days of employment and training.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Work closely with others to design, build, test, and deploy new software.
  • Develops software solutions against defined requirements within set timeframes.
  • Participates in development team code reviews and meetings.
  • Collaborates in design and requirements breakdown with other teams.
  • Works with other team members to ensure good SDLC methodologies are utilized.
  • Meets with stakeholders as required regarding application development activities.
  • Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Candidates with equivalent years of related IT experience, certifications, and education also considered.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with full lifecycle development and support, with a focus on manufacturing applications and integrations preferred
  • Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
  • Must have website and web application development using Microsoft development stack experience (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Webforms, Web Services, Windows Services, etc.
