Primary Function

The Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for maintaining master data and supporting business and manufacturing processes. They will foster strong relationships across all levels of the organization, address gaps, improves processes, arranges training, and gains industry insights.  In addition will understand the business strategy of functions/areas, including Materials Management, Production Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, and Procurement. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, define, and cleanse critical data, document processes, develop subject matter experts, and contribute to SAP-related process improvement projects in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure team success.
  • Serve as a technical business user or provide support for MM or PP modules in SAP.
  • Manage requirements by facilitating communication between the business, subject matter experts, and the development team.
  • Promote process harmonization and standardization within the respective business domain.
  • Learn how to implement the tools and coach the organization to leverage the system to drive the targeted business results.
  • Anticipate, manage stakeholders needs, discuss, and develop potential areas.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations. Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels. Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
  • Travel 5-10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • 7+ years of experience with SAP, specifically with procure to Pay and Plan to Manufacture processes.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of SAP knowledge, specifically in master data maintenance, with experience in writing SOPs and providing training.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plant personnel with day-to-day ERP system processes.
  • Familiarity with BOM Structures, MRPII, ERP, Inventory Control, Celonis, BI, and APICS concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing SAP
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office.
