Primary Function
This role is responsible for the achievement of profitable sales volumes of the company’s full line of consumer products to the key retail customer accounts via proper development and execution of trade and marketing programs.
Responsibilities
Role Specific Responsibilities
- This role reports into the Sr Manager- Retail Sales and works closely with them and the Retail Marketing Manager to help support the overall retail business
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Establish and develop business relationships with key customer personnel as well as multi-departmental contacts within key retailers
- Partners with Product, Sales, Marketing & logistics teams to develop account specific plans to maximize sales potential and generate the most profitable sale volume.
- Development and presentation of key account business reviews to mutually grow business and profits.
- Works closely with Retail Marketing Manager to develop specific marketing programs and identify opportunities to achieve distribution of new and existing products through display and ad merchandising and category and shelf management (digital and physical).
- Conducts analysis of business results vs. objectives using knowledge of customer’s business to interpret current and future market conditions and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years directly related experience,
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills- High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information based recommendations
- Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skills – promotes teamwork and partnering
- Time management – is able to prioritize competing tasks
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
