We Offer

Scheduled Hours: Monday- Friday, 5:00am-2:30pm (9 hour days) + OT every Saturday (50-60 hour weeks standard)

Pay Rate: $25.25/hr. - $26.35/hr. after 6 months- $27.58/hr. after 12 months

Bonus: $500 bonus payments after 3 months, 6 months and 12 months totaling $1500

Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

  1. Ensure Plating Set Up’s daily work is posted on White Board.
  2. Maintain Wastewater treatment plant.
  3. Ensure all required forms are filled out as required by work instructions.
  4. Verify visual quality of plating.
  5. Schedule 1st shift plater maintenance to be completed by Set Up.
  6. Schedule 2nd shift plater maintenance to be completed by Set Up.
  7. Ensure Lab is always clean and orderly.
  8. Keep sink free of chemicals and glassware except when actively in use.
  9. Make Chemical adjustments to Soak, Electro clean, Acid, Plating Baths and Chromate as needed to ensure quality plating of all parts on both platers.
  10. Clean and record time of Filter press cleanouts.

Scheduled Tasks:

  1. Perform all scheduled Titrations per WIPLA840 work instructions and record results on designated forms.
  2. Change plating bath filters as scheduled.
  3. Check oil concentration in Soak Tanks weekly.
  4. Weekly inventory of chemicals required for Titrations and report to Supervisor which chemicals need ordered or have expired.
  5. Schedule Zinc ball change out with Manifolds Group Lead per schedule.
  6. Other task as required.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer knowledge.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
