Primary Function


This position is responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. 






  1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotic, mechanical and building components on industrial equipment plant wide and have basic knowledge of PLC’s and controls.  
  2. Performs multi-craft tasks on all equipment and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
  3. Design and build mechanical aids for process improvements.
  4. Design and install guarding and other safety equipment to meet OSHA requirements.
  5. Design and build robotic process improvements as per guidelines of Build Standard.
  6. Perform preventive maintenance on a timely basis.
  7. Data entry into SAP including maintenance, preventive maintenance, project work orders and safety work orders.
  8. Maintain output to production standards while staying within acceptable scrap and rework standards. 
  9. Work in a team oriented atmosphere with continuous improvement goals of achieving and maintaining a world-class production facility.
  10. This position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
  11. The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling.
  12. The position may require weekend and/or holiday work and the willingness to work any shift.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.






  • Journeyman or similar related certifiation or degree perferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Must possess a complete set of maintenance tools
  • Knowledge of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, power source, stored energy, pinch points, etc.
  • Must be proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and building maintenance tasks.
  • Must also have a basic working knowledge of PLC’s, electrical controls and robotics and the ability to troubleshoot and repair as needed






High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 5 years related work experience
