We Offer

Regularly Scheduled Hours: 2:30pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday (Some OT during the week and occasional Saturdays)

 

Pay Rate: $25.50.hr to start

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for assisting supervisor with employees (both full time and temporary) within department, and will interact with employees in various instances. 
  2. Promote a work environment conducive to high employee morale.
  3. Review daily schedule prior to shift to anticipate product changeovers, staffing changes, etc.
  4. Responsible for all aspects of safety, quality, production and preventative maintenance in their area of responsibility.
  5. Responsible for requisitioning work orders and ensuring basic operator preventative maintenance tasks are performed as required 
  6. Must be able to comprehend schedule and required outputs for day’s production activities, including maintaining customer service, maintenance, and inventory goals, including working with key members of other functional areas.
  7. Become familiar with APCOM’s product specifications and the quality standards, including assisting in the development and upkeep of operating procedures for process and equipment, reviewing each line for quality, and working with the Quality department to train employees to identify quality problems.
  8. May be responsible for set-ups, maintaining the tooling in good working condition. Training employees.
  9. Keep cabinets clean and organized and good housekeeping.
  10. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
     

Qualifications

  • Must pass level 3 aptitude test.
  • Must learn all operations in the department.
  • Must possess and represent the organization with strong leadership, communication and teambuilding skills, including leading employee meetings and reporting out of departmental metrics as required.
  • Must be able to lift  50 pounds at a time, multiple times a day.
  • Mechanically inclined to have the ability to fix minor problems and run products at the highest quality.
  • Comply with all the safety, quality, and procedure requirements as noted in the applicable Work Instructions.
  • Must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
     

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
