Primary Function
The Financial Analyst will perform a variety of activities in the preparation, examination, and interpretation of accounting and financial records, reports, and statements. The incumbent will be involved with the general ledger, finance statements, budget preparation, forecasts, month-end closing and other cost/financial analysis compliant with all company and GAAP policies.
Responsibilities

- Meet month-end closing deadlines to provide accurate Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statements
- Prepare and analyze Cost Center Reports
- Maintain standard inventory costs and close and analyze all Production Orders
- Prepare monthly Warranty, Scrap, and Tariff and PPV Reports
- Assist with monthly Forecasts and Annual Budget preparation
- Assist with Annual Cost Roll
- Assist with Audit Requests from Division and Corporate teams
- Assist as backup for payroll and provide payroll approval
- Prepare monthly Account Reconciliations
- Observe all procedures and policies in accordance with GAAP, company policy, and federal/state regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
1+ year related work experience
Knowledge of GAAP
Strong communication skills both orally and written Proficiency with MS Excel and Word and accounting software
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and documents
Additional Qualifications
Work experience with accounting preferred
SAP knowledge or other ERP system preferred
Experience with BI, BPC or similar Financial Report software a plus
