Primary Function

The Compensation Analyst will provide day-to-day administration and analytical support, along with providing assistance with compensation related projects.  Additionally, the Compensation Analyst will provide ad-hoc HRIS ticketing support for compensation related requests as needed.



  • Provides timely response to hourly and salaried job evaluation requests, including completion of external/internal analysis using survey data, confirmation of job codes, grades, and job description updates. 
  • Support the development of job descriptions and maintain job description listing/catalogs by ensuring position profiles are kept current and accurate.
  • Provide accurate and timely job profile information to HR Managers as requested.
  • Analyzes employee data to match company positions to hourly and salary survey benchmarks.  
  • Interfaces with HR and managers to understand job content and confirm survey matches. 
  • Prepares monthly reports related to audit, governance, HR, and compensation processes. 
  • Completes retirement and financial planning requests, audit requests and documentation as requested. 
  • Identifies discrepancies and inconsistencies in internal data and takes action to correct. 
  • Participates in application testing for new project implementations.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Human Resources and Hiring Managers regarding compensation processes and HR systems. 
  • Provides additional support as needed for the merit and bonus processes. 
  • Participates and completes additional projects as assigned. 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Finance
  • 2+ years of compensation related work experience
  • Basic Knowledge of compensation administration principles and procedures. 
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. 


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with SuccessFactors, Employee Central, SAP, or HRIS Systems preferred. 
  • Strong data analytical skills and an affinity for metrics. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; with the ability to plan, prioritize, and balance multiple priorities at a time both short term and long term
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent project management and process documentation skills. 
  • Must be someone who is proactive and able to work independently, as well as within a team environment
  • Must be able to handle confidential material responsibly at all times.
