Primary Function

Provides support in Environmental Health Safety & Security (EHSS) and Sustainability functions and coordinates global plant wide safety and environmental efforts and compliance. Responsibilities may include but not limited to EHSS / Sustainability specific projects, program implementation, data and analytics, audits, training, compliance, risk assessments, worker’s compensation, and data management systems administration.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Directors of EHSS and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG); develop, coordinate, and maintain EHSS projects and tasks related to Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Sustainability programs.

Manage data systems for global EHSS and Sustainability metrics, reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

Work with the ESG Council and EHSS Councils to research internal trends and external benchmarking. Monitor and analyze program performance, trends, insights, and improvement recommendations through data analytics on a global scope.

Work with plant leadership and local EHSS representative to execute and engage plant employees in Corporate EHSS and Sustainability programs and processes, including training, compliance, security standards and mitigating critical risks.

Aid facilities with regulatory and corporate policy compliance.

Manage and be the point of contact for EHSS and ESG systems companywide.

Review and annually update the corporate documents in EHSS management system.

Prepare and maintain annual EHSS corporate award scorecards.

Manage Emergency Communication Response Plan administration to ensure compliance across locations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety preferred, or related field will be considered.

Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (inclusive of internships, co-ops, and projects).

Experience with data management and analytics.

Basic knowledge of safety and environmental requirements at the federal, state, and local requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.)

Position requires up to 25% travel, must be able and willing to travel

Additional Qualifications:

ISO 14001, and/or OSHA 30 Hour Compliance Course a plus

Proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Familiarity with Tableau or other similar data visualization tools

Ability to prepare presentations

Strong communication skills to listen and communicate both orally and written to all levels of the organization

Strong organizational and time management skills
