Primary Function

The incumbent will have an opportunity to work within a relevant field related to their major in order to gain work experience.  Usually the candidate for this role will be a college student who is interested in learning about our business and expanding their knowledge in work processes, analysis and support functions.

Responsibilities

  • Currently enrolled in accredited college/university for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
  • A minimum of a sophomore standing and the ability to co-op for at least 3 terms.
  • Understanding of electronics, circuits, and basic principles of electrical engineering.
  • Comfortable in an electronics lab environment, can run lab experiments and capture test data under supervision of senior staff.
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, MATLAB or LabView a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with support from senior staff.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university working towards a degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Graduate)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications-MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  •  Comfortable working with confidential information
