This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

Primary Function

Responsible for prioritizing and delivering the backlog of work based on business value, managing stake holder expectations, and serving as a point person for the SAP/ERP/TMS systems. The incumbent will be responsible for the administration, oversight, and management of the daily maintenance of these systems and integration with various other systems

Responsibilities

  • Master and maintain detailed knowledge of SAP/ERP/TMS with an awareness of opportunities to expand solutions and services, monitoring releases and usage to make recommendations for optimization.
  • Provide support for aspects of the implementation including configuration, software training, data integration processes, and testing.
  • Document business and data requirements and lead the planning, implementation, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support of all application solutions.
  • Help with implementing and testing new functionality on an ongoing basis, creating and testing new processes in testing environments and reproducing them in production to retest before launch.
  • Identify training needs of end users and provides the necessary system and end user training documentation; facilitates knowledge transfer sessions and educated internal administrators and end users on processes and overall functionality of the application.
  • Research and resolve technical and functional issues; including analyzing system errors and issues.
  • Execute transportation processes in test scripts (TM, freight payments, and vendor set up) and provide support in defect resolution.
  • Information gathering of processes in SAP computer system and configuring SAP TM and integration with other modules of SAP including setting up new warehouses and assist in the writing of interfaces for middleware and outside warehouse applications.
  • Provide functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports, participate in technical reviews to validate designs involved in SAP TM implementation, and document functional requirements for development of integrated solution in SAP TM.
  • Understand end users’ business needs, define requirements using existing SAP templates for manufacturing plants/system enhancements, and communicate these to SAP functional teams.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business or another related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience, preferably in SAP ECC and/or SAP-TM
  • At least 1 life cycle implementation of SAP ECC and/or SAP/TM

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing plant personnel with day-to-day ERP system processes
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and process improvement approach.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Over 2 years Transportation experience or Transportation Management System administration
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience a plus
