This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

Primary Function

PIM Tech Lead/Architect role is a member of Digital Marketing Platforms team, supporting the Winshuttle® EnterWorks® Product Information Management system. The PIM Tech Lead/Architect reports to the PIM Platform Lead.

Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Configuration:

  • Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders within the Business Units and BTS functions to discover & document relationships within our product data
  • Responsible for configuring PIM repositories & data model to reflect the aligned direction from the Engineering, Marketing & BTS (IT) teams
  • Responsible for adding & maintaining fields & field visibility for each level in the product hierarchy
  • Responsible for creating asset repositories to associate digital assets with products
  • Responsible for creating & maintaining saved sets & business rules to enforce data governance
  • Responsible for collaborating with the BTS (IT) teams to support the process to import data & assets from enterprise systems (SAP, etc).
  • Responsible for creating & maintaining export templates, syndications templates & associated jobs to publish data to our internal & external customers (Salesforce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Syndigo, custom templates as required)
  • Responsible for implementing workflow & dashboards within PIM in a way that aligns with the larger organization’s approach to workflow
  • Lead the implementation strategy for integrating PIM with Adobe InDesign to empower our graphic designers with the ability to import data from PIM into the product literature
  • Develop new functionality to expand the use of the EnterWorks system to other departments and training of those new users after the initial implementation

Administration:

  • Creating users and maintaining roles (security) per user and user group.
  • Make recommendations to the business & technical teams on how best to route the flow of data through one or more repositories within PIM.
  • Refine best practice workflow within the PIM platform for data entry & maintenance as needed

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with IT, business, computer science or technical focus, related educational experience, or related professional experienc
  • Prior experience with product information management systems is required (Winshuttle® EnterWorks® preferred) – data consolidation, workflows and data syndication
  • Prior experience with relational databases and MDM best practices.
  • Self-motivated leader with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • A drive to learn new skills and technologies
  • Possess and demonstrate working knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SQL is necessary
  • Comfortable in both an agile work environment and a traditional waterfall environment
  • Extensive use of project management tools like JIRA or Trello
  • Prefer candidates with experience using PIM in conjunction in a Manufacturing environment
  • Prefer candidates with experience using PIM in conjunction with SAP
  • Prefer candidates with experience using PIM in conjunction with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
