Primary Function

 

As the District Sales Representative,  you will be responsible for achieving sales goals within a defined geographic area and developing sales plans & budgets for achieving sales goals.

What You Will Be Responsible For

 

  1. Responsible for the sale of products in a defined geographical district and for the development and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy.
  2. Responsible for supporting sales representatives and key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers.
  3. Solicit business and goodwill on a regular basis from legitimate and customary sources;
  4. Provide basic service, troubleshooting and start-up of Lochinvar equipment;
  5. Solicit and develop relationships with residential/commercial plumbing and heating contractors.
  6. This position is responsible for promoting the Lochinvar product line in a professional and effective manner to Architects, Engineers, Distributors, Contractors and/or End Users.
  7. Solicit business and goodwill on a regular basis from legitimate and customary sources;
  8. Provide basic service, troubleshooting and start-up of Lochinvar equipment;
  9. Solicit and develop relationships with residential/commercial plumbing and heating contractors.

What You Will Bring

 

  • Balchelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training 
  • Must be able to function independently and possess strong organizational, communication and customer relation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems a plus.
  • Sales experience selling to Plumbing, Heating and Mechanical Contractors, Wholesalers, and/or Mechanical Engineers.
  •  Travel required
