  • Primary responsibilities in this role, will include developing, implementing, and executing to strategic marketing plans for the Professional Channel lines of business and brands of AO Smith Water Treatment N.A.
  • This individual must be a great business leader as well as great marketing leader. You are responsible for working with executives to determine marketing budgets and targets, directly effecting strategies for products and services provided for and by our Professional Water Treatment customers.
  • You will often be looked at for guidance and direction, as this individual will be accountable for profitability and results.  You will work in a corporate environment as part of a larger marketing, creative, communications and digital team. As part of the Professional Channel, you will play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals and vision.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee all marketing strategies and campaigns for the Professional Channel
  • Implement and promote business strategy, product, and services
  • Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
  • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support
  • Weekly updates to senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities, marketing department and reporting on the results of strategic initiatives


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or another related discipline is needed
  • We require a minimum of 7 years of related work experience
  • At least 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience is also required
  • Management and/or sales marketing experience
  • Established knowledge of commercial and residential water heating products
  • Experience with developing and implementing digital marketing efforts
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office competency, particularly Excel & PowerPoint
