What You Will Do

Leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead talented production teams. Use your advanced leadership abilities to drive safety, productivity, and exceptional quality. Collaborate with cross functional teams to prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a manager, you will coach your team members in leadership and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Develop the annual business plan and budget by providing realistic cost forecast for the operation ensuring future needs for equipment materials and manpower are available
  • Identify and coordinate operation requirements in order to provide a timely, cost efficient quality service
  • Manage overall operations in a cost effective manner and operate continually within approved expenditure and management policies
  • Train, motivate and develop staff to ensure continually high standard of performance; facilitate proper career progression and identify personnel worthy of promotion and/or further development and training
  • Identify customer requirements and ensure satisfactory industrial relations in order to provide a timely, cost efficient and quality service
  • Determine the needs of assigned district, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs
  • Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met
  • Review financial statements and departmental reports and directs the resolution of operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and remains current on customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for all Quality, and OSHA compliance within the assigned facility
  • Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communication style in dealing with customers and coworkers

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience for large number of employees (at least 300) is necessary
  • Experience leading in a manufacturing environment that utilizes ERP technology is required; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Must have experience managing a substantial departmental budget
