*This role is eligible for a remote work schedule of up to two days remote work per week. New employees are eligible to apply after successfully completing their initial 90 days of employment and training.

Primary Function

The Accountant IV will perform a variety of moderately complex activities in the preparation, examination, and interpretation of accounting and financial records, reports, and statements. The incumbent will be involved with the general ledger, payroll, budget, end closing, and other financial analyses compliant with all Company and GAAP policies.  


  1. Prepare month-end close journal entries
  2. Coordinate with accounting team to complete monthly balance sheet review and reconciliations
  3. Oversee the review and reconciliation of intercompany balances and cross-company transactions with both domestic and foreign locations
  4. Facilitate annual cost roll for all NA sites on SAP and perform other tasks as required under supervision of the Costing Director
  5. Prepare year-end schedules and coordinate with corporate accounting on consolidation
  6. Assist with both internal and external audit requests including tracking open items
  7. Understand internal controls around areas of job responsibility including journal entry review and month-end close
  8. Provide research assistance as required and respond to inquiries and requests from internal and external sources.
  9. Assist NA Operations Controller as required in special projects for corporate, internal or external audit.
  10. Understand other functions of accounting team to serve as back up to all other accounting functions as needed
  11. Supervise accounting specialist to ensure that foreign billings and intercompany charges are completed and reconciled timely
  12. Monitor and review key department metrics including site cycle count metrics and obsolete inventory balances.
  13. Observe all procedures and policies in accordance with GAAP, company policy, and federal/state regulations.



  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience



  1. Understanding of all applicable principles, regulations, and laws including GAAP, tax laws, and payroll laws
  2. Ability to read and interpret documents and data
  3. Strong communication skills both orally and written
  4. Proficiency with MS Excel and Word and accounting software
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and documents
