Production Operator ($19.45-20.45)

Primary Function

APCOM's facility in Franklin, Tennessee, is a climate-controlled facility that manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies.  The Production Operator will initiate manufacturing operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

Regularly Scheduled Hours: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Weekend Shift (3x12)

Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.45-$20.45

 Bonus Opportunity:

• $500 at the 90th day of hire
• $500 at the 180th day of hire
• $500 at the 365th day of hire
• Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments

Responsibilities

1. Complete training and perform operator functions in accordance with required work instructions for the position. 
2. Must be able to read, understand and run the production schedule
3. Must be able to work with automated machinery and have the ability to perform troubleshooting tasks in order to increase machine up time.
4. Must be willing to learn multiple operations and work in different areas as needed.
5. Must be capable of walking and/or standing for the entire shift
6. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
7. Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
    

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer knowledge
• No previous related work experience required; we will provide training
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance) and be capable of walking/standing for the entire shift
