Box Truck Driver (1st Shift- $20.10/hr)

O. Smith, a division that continues to see double digit growth into 2024.

Primary Function

The Box Truck Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with finished goods from our production plant and delivering them to our warehouse (less than 10 miles).

• Responsible for loading and unloading truck, using a forklift or manual pallet jack
• Pick up finished goods at the manufacturing plant and deliver to the warehouse
• Pick up raw material at the warehouse and deliver to the manufacturing plant (ten mile roundtrip)
• Possibility for light assembly production work while waiting for load to be ready.

Regularly Scheduled Hours: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, overtime as required

Sign On Bonus: $1500 ($500 at 3 months, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 12 months.  Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Experience driving a straight box truck (26 feet)
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
