We Offer

Regularly Scheduled Hours: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, overtime as required

Hourly Rate of Pay:  $23.15/hr 

Sign On Bonus:  $1500 ($500 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 12 months - must not be on a corrective action for attendance)

Primary Function

The Assembler (1st Shift) constructs high quality custom commercial water heaters, boilers, and pool heaters; assembles such items as fans, gas trains, sheet metal parts, heat exchangers and other assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies the information on the work order header is correct such as BOM part numbers, quantities, and consuming locations. Follows procedures to see that info gets corrected.
  • Completes assembly of the components per the instructions, drawing and quality standards. Inspects components for fit, form and function per defined procedures.
  • Using a variety of hand tools, assembles crates and bases for shipping units.
  • Installs wiring, including the wiring of pumps, panels and other options, according to the work order.
  • Attaches identification labels containing such information as warning labels, product type, and operating specifications.
  • Crates completed units and attaches shipping labels.
  • Works with other personnel to resolve quality issues on improperly functioning or uncompleted finished products.
  • Proper care and cleaning of the equipment, following all safety policies and guidelines and maintaining the area’s organization and housekeeping.
  • Timely reporting of production to the leader or supervisor.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work performed.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy of raw materials in the area and assists with cycle counting.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • Basic computer knowledge and navigation is essential.  Ability to use electronic information.
  • Ability to make logical decisions as to quality, customer service, time management. Good problem solving ability.
  • Mechanical ability. Use of simple math and measuring tools.
  • Good communication skills.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.  
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds overhead and maneuver various parts weighting up to 50 lbs.
