Primary Function

The 2nd Shift Brakepress Operator fabricates sheet metal throught he operation and set-up of brake press machinery.   The Brakepress Operator also sets up and operates power brake to bend and form sheet metal parts to print specifications.

We Offer

Regularly Scheduled Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am; overtime on Fridays as needed

 

Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.41/hr ($18.41/hr plus $1/hr shift premium)

 

Sign On Bonus Opportunity: $1500 ($500 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 12 months; must not be on a corrective action for attendance)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior experience in a sheetmetal fabrication shop
  • Mechanical skills and ability.  Ability to read drawings, sketches and schedules.  Ability to use measuring instruments and work with simple math consisting of fractions and decimals.
  • Capable of meeting the physical requirements such as heavy lifting, concentration, good visual attention and high degree of dexterity.
