Primary Function

The IT Support Specialist II will provide technical support to internal and network users to minimize organizational impact.


  • Perform day-to-day end-user support duties which include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, printers, and other peripheral devices in a mixed Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Assist end-users with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the MS Office 365 app suite along with other company supported applications.
  • Document, track, and monitor problem calls via the ITSM ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution. Experience with the ServiceNow platform is a plus.
  • Work with Communications Team to support IP desk phones, soft phones, and mobile devices.
  • Work with Communications Team to ensure that audio and visual conferencing equipment is kept operational and up to date.
  • Assist Infrastructure Teams in the installation, troubleshooting, and enhancement network services.
  • Configure and assist in setup and troubleshooting of RF scanning devices and label printers.
  • Work regular business hours with the availability of some night/weekend work, as required, in support of system maintenance, upgrades or project implementations as needed to help minimize user impact.
  • Assist with inventory and asset management in adherence to company policies.
  • Perform additional activities as needed or as assigned by IT management.


  • Technology related Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Other equivalent combinations of education, experience, training and credentials will be considered.
  • Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA and Cisco recommended
  • Demonstrated ability to install and troubleshoot MS Operating systems and software
  • Strong working technical knowledge of network, server, storage, PC, and other platform operating systems, including Windows 7/10
  • Ability to properly terminate CAT-5/6 cables and wall jacks
  • Understanding of network switches and routing
