Primary Function

Entry level position to gain and retain knowledge specific to Lochinvar product and provide direct support to the Technical Service Support Center by screening calls for pertinent information and transferring calls to the correct skill. The individual will be assigned and responsible to the Technical Service Department, however; other duties can be assigned in other areas.


  • Complete, maintain, and process pertinent paperwork and records.
  • Provide technical and service assistance to Lochinvar customers via telephone contact
  • Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


  • One-year relevant certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Valid State Operator Driver License 


High School Diploma or GED
Trade School Degree

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Use of wrenching, impacting, and/or vibrating tools (manual and automatic) is required occasionally for extended periods of time.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
