Overview

 

Based on current and forecasted requisition volume, we are looking to add a part-time Information Technology Contract Recruiter (1099 or C2C) for a long-term, open-ended engagement.  Our current need is for 20 – 30 hours/week but is subject to change based on business conditions.  This position can be up to 100% remote or based in our Nashville, TN or Milwaukee, WI office.

 

The part-time Contract IT Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting on salaried IT requisitions, mainly for our IT group in Nashville, TN.   This includes creating a job and location-specific recruitment strategy to source and attract highly qualified candidates, executing the hiring process, and creating a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

 

Strategy: Schedule and lead strategy meetings with HR and Hiring Managers to develop a recruitment plan on assigned requisitions.  Develop an understanding of the business, growth plans, and challenges.

 

Recruiting and Sourcing:  Partner with HR and Hiring Manager to create and post a recruitment ad to attract candidates as well as to create a sourcing plan and source potential candidates.

 

Interviewing:  Screen and assess candidates.  Conduct phone interviews. 

 

Presenting Candidates:  Present a diverse pool of qualified candidates for each requisition.   Coordinate phone interviews between candidates and HR/Hiring Manager.

 

Post Offer Process:  Check candidate references.

 

Consulting:  Maintain a good relationship with hiring leaders for direction, progress, and adjustments to search strategies as needed.  Consult with and advise HR and Hiring Managers on possible challenges in the recruitment process.

 

Communication:  Provide frequent and timely communication throughout the process to all parties.

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 5 years in a dedicated Recruiter role for salaried requisitions, with at least 3 of those years being focused on IT recruiting 
  • Knowledge of legal issues in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle unique IT requisitions which require substantial sourcing
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system required (we use SuccessFactors)
  • Demonstrated track record of success adhering to a defined recruiting process and performance to meet established hiring metrics/plans
  • Superior listening skills and ability to solicit and use feedback in a positive way.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with candidates and employees of all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to convey approachability and trust, work collaboratively and establish relationships. Must be persistent and persuasive without being discourteous.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills required. Ability to interact with candidates whenever they’re available.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Previous work experience focused on highly complex information technology positions is required
  • Prior work experience successfully filling roles that require SAP/SuccessFactors expertise is preferred
