Primary Function
Performs routine maintenance on building systems and equipment. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facility. General repairs and maintenance like drywall repair, painting, etc. Manages inventory and invoicing for cleaning supplies, high pressure gas cylinders, and other large volume items that need tracking. Performs and documents shipping and receiving duties. Works with and manages vendors that provide outdoor services for the building including lawn care, snow removal, dumpster pickup, and window washing.
Responsibilities
Mange all incoming and outgoing freight, domestic and International including tracking and paying the invoices
Build freight containers and package freight
Keep order in the Storage areas
Manage the trash and recycling logistics for the building
PM for the forklift and the van
Monthly safety and PM check lists
Assist with light duty shop tasks such as sectioning field returns for analysis
Purchase lab equipment and supplies
Tracks and pays invoices for multiple ongoing services for the building
Assist with lab technician tasks as needed in multiple lab areas
Other duties may be assigned as needed
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of snow removal scheduling and billing
• Management of grass cutting scheduling and billing
• Management of window washing scheduling and billing
• Cleaning/floor scrubbing
• Management of high pressure gas cylinders- inventory and billing
• Management of dumpsters and trash- acquiring and billing
• Maintain shipping and receiving responsibilities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of related work experience or training
Must possess valid Driver's License
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be competent in Microsoft Office Suite Applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must have a general understanding of the shipping process, a strong customer orientation, and a sense of urgency.
Must be able to work with customers and vendors.
Problem resolution skills required.
Experience in using TMS tools, SAP/TM preferred.
Office clerical skills.
