This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

Primary Function

The Demand Planning Analyst is a key role within the Planning group and is responsible for creating forward looking demand forecasts, providing KPI reporting and performing analytics to drive forecast accuracy improvements. In this entry level role, the Demand Planning Analyst will support the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the North American business units.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance of a rolling 12-month collaborative demand forecast for a North American business unit.
  • Analyze historical demand, promotional plans, new product introductions, and customer point-of-sales, inventory, and forecast information to generate forecast.
  • Analyze demand using Logility and Tableau reporting tools including forecast accuracy, historical trends, and monthly changes to improve performance.
  • Transform data into actionable insights; design and conduct ad-hoc analysis.
  • Develop and document standard work that drives repeatable results for demand and material planning.
  • Create key performance indicators that measure the accuracy, effectiveness and completeness of the demand and material planning process and drive root cause corrective action as needed.
  • Participate in the development of new methodologies, as needed, to improve the planning process and results.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Support the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • One year of related work experience or college internship experience. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Inventory control and material planning experience. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Participation in the analysis and interpretation of large amounts of data and provide effective summaries to leadership.
