This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking. Position is contract to hire with the option for medical coverage. 

Primary Function

A. O. Smith is looking for a driven individual to join our team and support the optimization of our end-to-end supply chain processes. You will be responsible for working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to leverage analytics to help ensure the right long-term forecast models are identified, developed, and deployed. This unique role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your problem solving and technical capabilities while learning about A. O. Smith end-to-end business processes and go-to market strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed analysis of forecast consumption at the SKU level across multiple manufacturing facilities in North America
  • Work effectively with numerous cross-functional process areas across the A. O. Smith Supply Chain, including IT, Demand Planning, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, and Manufacturing, to delivery highly effective, integrated solutions.
  • Support the development of key content for leadership discussions, including S&OP Reviews.
  • Continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes in support of network optimization efforts.
  • Document solutions and create quick reference guides as appropriate to accompany analyses.
  • Provide training on developed analyses to support effective business implementation and adoption.

Qualifications

  • A natural curiosity and love of learning
  • Experience in the design and creation of SQL statements
  • Knowledgeable of standard analytics components such as charts, graphs, tables
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to allow for effective collaboration with the business
  • Familiarity with SAP source table preferred but not required
  • Experience with Supply chain network optimization modelling tools preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Related Field or Business Management
