Primary Function

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Sales and Distribution business teams to define and document functional and technical specifications
• Design, develop, configure, transport, test and deploy SAP BW on HANA 7.x, BW4 data warehousing solutions
• Build ADSO’s, Composite providers, Open ODS, Transient providers, transformations, extractors, data sources and required ABAP, routines.
• Design and develop SS Bex queries, Web intelligence reports to meet Sales, Finance reporting requirements
• Adopt data modeling & data flow design best practices to develop robust & scalable solutions. Activate, Configure & Enhance Business Content Extractors
• Optimize reporting and data load performance
• Design and develop front-end analytics, reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/CMC), SAP Web Intelligence (WEBI), SAP Analysis for Office
• Coordinate incident resolutions ensuring timely closure of identified defects within published SLAs.  Lead root cause analysis for major defects.
• Collaborate with other functional architects and business analysts to identify changes that impact existing analytics, and ensure end-to-end analytic needs are met
• Follow established portfolio and project management processes  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in: Business, Information Technology, Mathematics; other discipline with minor in statistics, quantitative methods, or data science; or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of SAP BW on HANA and/or BW4/HANA end to end development experience supporting Sales, Finance, or any functional area reporting in a global analytics (multi-country, multi-currency) environment
• 3+ years’ experience developing front-end Analytics using SAP Business Objects, SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Webi, Administering CMC and Tableau or PowerBI reporting solutions
• 3+ years of SAP BW/B4 on HANA experience including Standard, Custom extractions, Modeling, and Query design with strong emphasis in solutions for SAP ECC FI CO, SD, MM, PP
• 2+ years of ABAP Development experience
• Experience in working with stakeholders to identify opportunities and then conduct requirements gathering workshops
• Experience working with complex assignments and projects within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters
• Experience deploying cutover activities, data migration, testing, user training, and hyper-care support activities
• Ability to troubleshoot systems issues, complete reconciliations, and coordinate with process subject matter experts to resolve cross functional integration issues
• Understanding of SAP BW Security Modeling
• Strong interpersonal, and personal organization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and travel 10%
