This role is located in our modern Nashville Metro Center office, located just minutes from downtown with easy interstate access and free parking.

 

This role is eligible for a remote work schedule of up to two days remote work per week. New employees are eligible to apply after successfully completing their initial 90 days of employment and training.

Primary Function

Responsible for the integration and production support for specific SAP modules, functional and/or business areas. Understands the business strategy of particular functions/areas and works with the team to define business requirements. Communicates and coordinates with team leads, business leadership, subject matter experts, and Project Managers to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across enterprise.  Support the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational structure and required SAP configuration.  Supports the business by completing support requests and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Information gathering of business processes regarding the SAP Transportation Management system. Configuring SAP TM and integration with other modules of SAP including setting up new warehouses and assisting in the writing of interfaces for middleware and outside warehouse applications.
  • Information gathering of processes in SAP Procurement and configuring SAP Procurement and integration with other modules of SAP including supporting day to day procurement activities across all organizations.
  • Provide functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports, participate in technical reviews to validate designs involved in SAP TM implementation, and document functional requirements for development of integrated solution in SAP TM.
  • Provide functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports, participate in technical reviews to validate designs involved in SAP Procurement, and document functional requirements for development of integrated solutions in the procurement space.
  • Execute transportation and procurement processes in test scripts (TM, freight payments, and vendor set up, Stock Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders, etc) and provide support in defect resolution.
  • Understand end users’ business needs, define requirements using existing SAP templates for manufacturing plants/system enhancements, and communicate these to SAP functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business management 
  • At least 2 life cycle implementations of SAP ECC and Transportation Management
  • 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plant personnel with day-to-day ERP system processes.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and process improvement approach.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
