Primary Function

We are seeking a Distribution Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing the Ontario, California distribution center.  This position will require experience in finished goods inventory storage and shipment, inventory record accuracy, providing appropriate staffing levels and personnel development, distribution operating efficiency, maintaining an environment of continuous process improvement and establishing and directing work guidelines.  

  • Responsible for leading and mentoring staff in the direction of our company goals and managing employee development.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving operating efficiency of the Distribution Center.
  • Responsible for the timely receipt of finished and raw goods, inventory accuracy and cycle counting along with COT Compliance, budgeting compliance and reporting monthly and daily KPI’s.
  • Responsible for identifying and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to provide desired high customer service level.
  • Responsible for continuously working toward achieving high inventory accuracy performance in all finished goods warehouse locations.
  • Responsible for complete and on-time customer order fulfillment (assuming product and equipment are available).
  • Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe and clean work environment.
  • Responsible for developing all department procedures and ensuring procedure adherence.
  • Responsible for establishing and monitoring performance metrics involved in company distribution functions.
  • Responsible for determining and obtaining peripheral temporary warehouse space as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related experience preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience in a distribution management function.
  • 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Must be able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously while meeting desired performance metrics.
  • Highly proficient in distribution and warehouse management systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with radio frequency equipment and working with serialized inventory. 
  • Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) experience preferred.
