This position is located at A.O. Smith's Atlantic Filter location in West Palm Beach, FL.
Working hours: Moday through Friday 8am-5pm
Based in West Palm Beach, FL (USA), the team manufacture and distributes quality water treatment equipment for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial use. Founded in 1955, Atlantic Filter products are distributed through water treatment professionals, homebuilders and its WaterPlex Water Centers throughout Florida and the southeastern United States.
Atlantic Filter was acquired by A. O. Smith Corporation in June 2022.
Primary Function
Responsible for the outbound and inbound phone calls to schedule service calls , data entry, helping walk in retail customers, placing reminder calls to existing customers, taking job odors over the phone, assisting with inventory, provide tech support at intermediate level.
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling service or sales opportunities.
- Maintain current CRM database.
- Prepare daily schedule and paperwork for technicians.
- Review paperwork and determine if follow up is needed.
- Follow up phone calls to customers
- Create purchase orders for units and parts
- Sales orders for mail delivery or showroom pick up
- Schedule all salt delivers.
- Outbound phone calls to existing customers for service and delivery reminders
- Respond to prospective customer inquiries and schedule free consultations
- Assist showroom customers with products and questions
- Test water samples and forward results to the appropriate department
- Attend department meetings
- Assist with inventory
- Receive and handle customer requests and complaints.
- Support service manager as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 + years of related work experience or training
- Exceptional computer proficiency and ability to navigate through systems
- Professional face-to-face, telephone, and email communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed within established policy and procedure structure
- Attention to detail and desire to provide quality service to both internal and external customers
