What You Will Do

As the Benefits Analyst, you will provide assistance with the administration of our benefits programs including but not limited to health insurance and leaves of absence.  

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Monitors leave of absence/disability programs to ensure billing is set-up and collection of benefit deductions occur.
  • Assist with ACA compliance and distribution of IRS 1095/1096 reporting 
  • Advises employees and retirees on eligibility for health insurance including coverage and claim procedures
  • Maintains benefit records and prepares queries to audit data entries in HR systems.
  • Assists in the administration of one or more benefit programs.
  • Advises employees on eligibility for insurance, hospitalization, and other benefits including amounts of coverage and claim procedures
  • Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage
  • Manages Qualified Medical Support Orders and additional supporting documentation for eligible dependents.
  • Provides open enrollment support with printing enrollment and confirmation forms
  • Manages all bills for health & welfare vendors and submit requests for payment/ACH
  • Other project support and duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of human resources, benefit analysis, and administration, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to independently conduct research on a wide variety of benefits-related human resources topics, including operational alternatives
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal information of applicants, employees, former employees and other matters affecting employee relation
  • Excellent communication skills via written and oral
  • Experience with SAP, Kronos, Employee Central, and other human resources databases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
